| Just to remind you, Scottish Rugby has recently introduced a simplified way for clubs
to earn commission through the sale of Scotland match tickets. This new development uses the existing Scottish
Rugby On-Line Ticket Centre, but in such a way that allows us to continue to earn valuable commission on the sale
of tickets through our club members.
Of course, we may want to know which members have booked using the system. Therefore, under the Data
Protection Act you will need to give Scottish Rugby permission to share your name and email address with
the Club. An “opt in” box is provided for this purpose.
How does it work?
Every Club in Scotland is being provided with its own unique URL (i.e. website address) to gain access to the
Scottish Rugby On-Line Ticket Centre. This is virtually identical to the existing On-Line Ticket sales process
so if you currently use this method of purchase you won’t notice any difference. However, as soon as you enter
the site using the web address on this email/letter, the system will automatically match your purchase against
our Club and immediately allocate the appropriate commission (based on the gross sales value).
The URL for our club is:
https://www.eticketing.co.uk/scottishrugby/list.aspx?tagref=6&advcode=Moray&groupref=179&digest=1049bbe19b3a5ab665543e5c45d7ffd213a5b3f1
Scotland V France tickets are currently available online and Club Commission of 10% is paid on all member
purchases. However tickets for the Scotland V England games and away matches will continue to be processed
manually – ie via the Club. Of course the Club system will still be available, if you prefer, for the French
match. It’s your choice.
If you have any queries about the new commission process, or wish to order tickets please email me.
